History of Crown Princess Mary's Wedding Tiara *

Mary was recently seen wearing her wedding tiara at the dinner with the President of Finland and his wife. I thought it would be appropriate to talk about it's past.
Mary pulled out the diamond tiara when she married Frederik back in May of 2004. It was never seen before the wedding. Meaning, that it was a tiara specially made for Mary. It was bought by Queen Margrethe and her husband, Prince Henrik. It was given as a gift to her for her wedding.
This tiara can be used as a tiara or as a necklace. Mary has even altered it to a tiara with pearl spikes and a pearl row underneath. Mary debuted it during a South Korea state visit back in May of 2011.
